For several years, the Cheese Wax People went dormant while I finished school and tried to make a living working in live theatre... (Hah!) Then one day I met Bill, who ran a local open mic in downtown Sunnyvale. He had heard tales of the Cheese Wax People and insisted that I bring a few of them in for show and tell.
Not having any cheese wax folk ready at hand, I set to work adding new members to the dead/dying/tortured family:
The Stocks
Death by Javelin
"Crib Death"
Death by Electrocution
(Chair inspired by the State of Georgia's electric chair.)
The following week, the five of us attended the open mic along with other musicians, artists and crafts people. The Cheese Wax People were well received and got passed around the room on their little plastic paint pallet:-)
These ones are still around. Because of the very low melting point of the wax, they live a very chill life in the freezer.
Stay tuned for the next episode: Adventures of Cheese Wax Man on Tour!
